I heard this cost $10 million. Incredible to see though.

Correction, I looked it up and it appears to be somewhere between $100 000 and $400 000

# 1 Disrespectful as Pac couldn't stand Dre or Snoop near his end...

# 2 What's next, the republicans god, Reagan making gop pep talks?

# 3 The Tupac hologram wasn't actually a "hologram" per se, but a two dimensional image that was bounced off a mirror and angled glass in such a way that it appeared 3D to the naked eye (see illustration above, c/o The International Business Times). This is a very old optical illusion technique known as "Pepper's Ghost."

Yeah I saw the video of this earlier. I thought it was pretty damn cool. I don't see it as disrespectful at all. Pac is dead, his feelings toward Dre and Snoop don't matter anymore, but Dre and Snoop still show him love because they moved on and are giving him props. Is Dre paying tribute to Eazy E disrespectful as well since they had beef at one point?

We all know that beef in hip hop is just aimless entertainment. What they did with the hologram, surprising the fans like that was awesome.

First of all it's not a hologram. The very fact they called it a hologram for attention whore purposes is sad. It's a very old projection technique. But still people call it a hologram?

Second, they are making money off a dead man which didn't like them AT ALL TOWARDS HIS END and I agree why he didn't like them. This is a disgrace.

Third, did it look kool? Yeah.

It's not even a debate, for this particular matter everything I just said is the truth in exact context of subject.

It looks like a hologram, which is why they say that. Plus people have been making money off 2pac for over a decade now. It's nothing new, but they didn't sell the thing to fans to get them to come to the show. They were already there, and they did it as a surprise.

I still think it's shallow overall.

Just because people (esp ones Pac hated) been making money of Pac for years don't mean it's right, then, this day, or tomorrow.

Just my opinion...

...BTW the projection going on tour LOL...

It would be interesting if they tried to do like a Don Killuminati or All Eyez on Me tour. Only thing is, I dunno if people are going to pay to listen to a regular studio 2pac album put to an image. Is that really any different than watching a music video or listening to the album? Maybe if they meshed it up with actual live performances but I just don't see the appeal beyond the odd few collabo songs with Dre and Snoop.
